How love is formed
I've always loved poetry. Growing up, I watched a lot of Hong Kong wuxia dramas. A common trope is the hero recites a poem to mark a moment. In some ways, it's like Shakespeare characters reciting a monologue. The most famous Shakespeare monologue might be "to be or not to be."
For me, chinese poetry is distinct and different than english poetry. In English, we have lots of connective words and phrases. In chinese poetry it isn't necessary. For me, chinese poetry is closer to the raw feelings and imagery than english.
